3 Effective Ways to Relieve Menstrual Cramps

Abdominal Cramps are common during menstruation and even as pre-menstrual syndrome. While most women find it easy to manage, for some it is almost impossible to even stand up or continue with their everyday routine. 1. Hot water bottle

Hot water bottle is highly recommended to reduce pain at any part of the body. With women who are on their periods, a hot water bottle would help relax the muscles and thus give you relief from period cramps.

2. Stay active

Some women believe that exercising during periods will cause an hindrance or they don’t feel like standing up. But, walking or exercising lightly helps relieve pain.

 

3. Avoid junk

Well, you are likely to crave for more junk food (especially chocolates and oily food) during your periods, but in reality that distubts your blood flow, thereby causing more pain and discomfort.

In case you get unbearable pain, you should see a Doctor as it may be a symptom of some disorder like PCOS that requires medical attention.
