1. Until you’re exhausted, fight for your love.
Although it may seem foolish, stupid, and pitiful, doing this can actually help you go on without looking back. Even though there is no prospect of success, if you truly love someone, you will battle for them nevertheless because at least you did your part. You can then proceed without second-guessing yourself or contemplating what might have been.

Moving on also becomes simpler as you grow weary of the situation and the individual after you stop battling for someone who doesn’t want to return.

 

2. Don’t be sentimental
Throw away everything that might trigger memories. Although it is difficult, I assure you that it will help you carry less weight. If you find it difficult to let go of mementos, you are still clinging on. However, once you see that holding on is useless, have the courage to let go of all your unrealistic expectations. What is gone cannot be brought back by memories.

 

3. Don’t be clingy
Stop being clingy if you want your ex to come running back to you. Humans love to play the hard to get game. But when they learn that the person they admire has stopped chasing after them, they start to question why and go after them.

However, if you don’t want to try the first advice, this is also helpful for moving on after a split. You can save your pride and give up hoping at least with this.
