Coronavirus outbreak has encouraged us to stay within the four walls of the house. The spread has adversely affected a large chunk of population. It’s time when we should express our love and help to the needy. People from our neighborhood may not be in a healthy condition to cook. Here are 5 quick recipies which you can cook for them and drop at their doorstep.

Salad jar
It is one of the easiest and healthiest recipies which you don’t even need to cook. Just pickup your favourite salad veggies and peal them, chop them into small pieces. Collect it all into a jar and add spices. It may include veggies like carrot, capsicum, tomato, cucumber and anything you like. For a sweet and tangy taste, add chaat masala, black pepper and squeeze half a lemon into it.

Sweet potato
Sweet potato is one of the simplest cooking dishes. All you need to do is to boil the sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker or any covered utensil untill two whistles and peal off the skin after it is done. Cut it into medium pieces and add your favourite spices. Sweet potato is a carb-rich dish.

Cheese pasta
A not so healthy yet sumptuous option is having cheese pasta. Bring your pasta to boil. Prepare the white sauce side by side. Ads all purpose flour, milk and cheese to achieve a thick sause. Mix both the things really well and season it with your favourite seasonings. If you are health conscious, try using whole wheat pasta and cook it in red-sauce/without cheese.

Fried rice
Friend rice is yet another delicious recipe which can be made healthy too, if used brown rice instead of regular white. Bring the rice to a boil and turn off the flame. Temper it by adding onion, capsicum, tomato, cabbage, carrots or whatever you have and would like to. Add salt, pepper, spices, chilli sause and soya sauce to enhance its taste. You can easily re-heat it before consumption.

Kichdi is an Indian cuisine which is made up of rice and lentils. You can choose any lentil like chana dal or moong dal and mix it with rice. Add basic spices like salt and pepper and bring it to a boil. Let the water drain and it is done. It is one of the healthiest recipies and can be consumed without a second thought.
