A Single Girl’s Guide To New Year’s Eve

Here are some guidelines to a single girl’s New Year’s Eve:

1. HAVE SOMETHING, ANYTHING TO DO.

If you’re in a relationship, New Year’s Eve can be a great idea. If you’re single, a romantic night with your dog and Netflix is on. So for the love of all things holy, put down the remote, get your butt off the couch, and dress yourself up for a night out with your partner.

2. FIND A PARTNER IN CRIME.

Team up with one of your friends to make sure neither of your male friends is there. Being single doesn’t mean you’re alone. Having a friend to a party on the whole night is further proof of that.

3. GO OUT WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS.

There is no greater time for a girl’s night out than New Year’s Eve. Not only you will have the ladies there to party with you, but also you’ll show yourself how great friendships can be fun.

4. AVOID THE COUPLES.

You may be the best friends with a couple that couldn’t be more in love, but leave their relationship goals solo for the New Year’s night. Going out with them will only remind you that you’re single for the New Year. Being single isn’t a bad thing though, watching their lovey-dovey celebration can make you think it is.

So many women love midnight kiss. Ladies, it may be a tradition, but it’s not that big deal. A kissless stroke of 12 doesn’t mean you’re doomed to spend the New Year alone. That being said, if you still want to have fun, a friendly kiss can help. Whether it’s a guy friend or one of your best girl’s, ring in the New Year with a kiss, even if that love is platonic, it works.
