Amazon Black Friday in November!

Every year, Amazon breathlessly announces ahead of the sales event, specifically Black Friday, that it will be its “biggest ever” event; with thousands of discounts across products in its its technology, toys, games, fashion, jewelry, beauty, and home departments.

Amazon Black Friday Sale Is Live!

Amazon Black Friday Sale is Live Now through Friday, November 24; with new deals added as often as every five minutes for eight straight days. Customers will have access to more than 20 coveted Deals of the Day; starting at midnight on Thanksgiving, and up to 30 more on Black Friday.

Basically, as part of Black Friday, Amazon offers the Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals. Just like the name suggests, the Deal of the Day is an item that Amazon has deeply discounted for the day. As for Lightning Deals, these are deep discounts on items; that are refreshed as often as every five minutes during Black Friday week.

Another Black Friday tradition is that Amazon offers a mix of multi-day discounts along with “Lightning Deals”, which are only available for a limited amount of time – or until the product sells out. As happened last year, Amazon Prime members are likely to get early access to the Black Friday 2019 Lightning Deals.

With Amazon’s sales increasing by “millions” during the Black Friday period last year and Cyber Monday being the biggest shopping event in the retailer’s history, we’re expecting impressive deals across everything from tech and beauty to toys and fashion.

Previous Stats –

Looking back to 2018, we know that the Black Friday sales period was a massive success for Amazon: the retailer says that Cyber Monday 2018 was the single biggest shopping day in the company’s history. In the US, over five popular shopping days starting with Thanksgiving and continuing through Cyber Monday; Amazon says it broke records as customers purchased “millions more products over the five day period vs. the same period last year.”

That record was then shattered by Amazon Prime Day 2019 in July; when Prime members worldwide purchased more than 175 million items throughout Prime Day; making it the largest shopping event in Amazon history.

So for Black Friday 2019, we can expect Amazon to adhere to the above formula; as well as throwing in a couple of new surprises to help it keep to that “biggest ever” promise.
