Within next few days, while scrolling through your insta feed, you’ll definitely find at least one celebrity, influencer or fashion editor wearing a pair of Amina Muaddi sandals.
And with no surprise, the Gilda glitter crystal sandals are officially declared as the hottest shoe of the closing quarter of 2020, by Lyst.
Surprisingly, her entire line sell out in just one day.
As per the Lyst Index, average searches for Amina’s Gilda heels were found to be 60,500 per month between October and December 2019, while the brand saw a 73 percent rise in views.
After the designer was named Rihanna’s footwear designer for Fenty, her namesake brand saw a 50% spike in searches on Lyst. Not bad for only having launched a year ago.
To help brands and the consumers better understand the current market, Lyst, a global fashion search engine, compiled data on the shopping behaviours of more than 9 million consumers on a quarterly basis.
“The formula behind The Lyst Index takes into account global Lyst and Google search data, conversion rates and sales, as well as brand and product social media mentions and engagement statistics worldwide over a three month period,” the report reads.
Without much surprise, the Off-White, Gucci, and Balenciaga took the top three spots on Q4’s list of the hottest brands of 2019,
Fenty’s first collection of the new decade is all set to arrive on the brand’s website tomorrow. Muaddi’s namesake brand will become much more popular in Q1 of 2020. We can only imagine, let’s find it out.
