  • 9 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 (16.5-oz.) log store-bought cookie dough
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. chocolate chips, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape and spoon approximately 3 tablespoons cookie dough into a line in the center. Fold up bottom half and tightly fold in sides. Gently roll, then seal fold with a couple drops of water.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil (it should reach 1″ up the side of pan) until a drop of water bubbles when added to the oil. Add egg rolls and fry until golden, 1 minute per side. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate. Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with melted chocolate, and serve.

  • 1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
  • 1 c. marshmallow fluff
  • 30 mini marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp. hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • Crushed graham crackers, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 350º and line an 8″-x-8” pan with parchment. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and pour into prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted into center of brownies comes out with a few moist crumbs, about 45 minutes. Let cool, 20 minutes.
  • Heat broiler. Using the bottom of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over brownies.
  • Microwave marshmallow fluff with 1 tablespoon water until pourable, 20 seconds. Pour into poke holes.
  • Top with a layer of mini marshmallows and broil until golden, 2 minutes.
  • Drizzle with hot fudge and garnish with crushed graham crackers.

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
  • 12 frozen, plain 1″ cheesecake squares
  • 1 c. unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c. cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream, plus more if needed
  • Rainbow sprinkles, for decoration
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, prepare cupcake batter according to package directions. Fill half the muffin tin with batter, then place a piece of cheesecake in the center. Cover with more batter and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, make frosting: In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until light and fluffy. Beat in heavy cream (adding more by the tablespoon until consistency is creamy but can hold peaks).
  • Pipe cupcakes with frosting and decorate with rainbow sprinkles.

DEATH BY CHOCOLATE POKE CAKE

FOR THE CAKE

  • Cooking spray
  • Cocoa powder
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
  • 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

FOR THE FROSTING

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 3/4 c. cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream (plus more if necessary)
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Make cake: Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9″-x-13″ pan with cooking spray and dust with cocoa powder. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Poke cake all over with the handle of a wooden spoon. In a small bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk and melted chocolate. Pour mixture into the holes.
  • Make frosting: In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Beat in heavy cream, adding more by the tablespoon until consistency is creamy but can hold peaks.
  • Spread frosting all over cake with an offset spatula and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
