Noise-cancelling is something that we all know about Sony’s headphones or earphones; but well, looks like Sony is planning on getting attention with its latest Truly wireless earbuds being funky, retro and colorful.
What are these Colorful Retro Truly Wireless Earbuds?
At IFA 2019, on the 5th of September, Sony debuted the colorful WF-H800 truly wireless headphones as well as five color options for the WH-H910N overband headphones.
Fashion lovers are in their element with five new color combinations teamed with high quality sound. There are also matching colors available for the latest version of the Walkman. Hence go on and get your retro groove on.
As the company says the following in their press release regarding the retro touch –
“Take a trip down memory lane with the 40th anniversary edition, NW-A100TPS Walkman®. NW-A100TPS Walkman® has a printed 40th anniversary logo on the rear panel and comes with a specially designed soft case and package, which pays homage to and is inspired by the TPS-L2 Walkman®, Sony’s first portable cassette player. Launched in 1st July 1979, it revolutionized the way that people listened to music on the go, giving them the freedom to enjoy their favorite music wherever they went. Not everything was better back then, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds with the heritage design of Walkman® whilst having cutting edge technology at your fingertips. You can also enjoy a cassette tape user interface that takes inspiration from classic Walkman® models.”
More Insight –
Like the M3s, these earbuds each connect to your phone simultaneously. Sony says they can get a total of 16 hours of battery life. That’s eight hours of continuous playback from the earbuds themselves and an additional full charge from the battery case. They feature 6mm drivers and a “tri-hold” structure; this makes contact with your ear in three spots to keep them there securely. You won’t get any active noise cancellation from these; but if they fit snug and you get a good amount of noise isolation, it might not matter all that much.
Other Features –
Along with Quick Attention mode, touch sensors allow you to control your WH-H910N headphones without getting out your device. Control your headphones via the earcup and surrounding buttons to perform a range of functions; including skipping songs and activating the voice assistant. These headphones are also compatible with the dedicated Sony | Headphones Connect app; so you can personalize your music as easily as your style. Along with being splashed with color, the NW-A105 Walkman is compact with a 3.6inch HD display for a premium feel; and features USB-Type-C for easy connectivity.
The WH-H910N headphones becomes smarter with voice assistant, which is complete with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Manage your day, just by asking your favorite voice assistant. Enjoy entertainment, connect with friends, get information, set reminders and more.
In Australia, the WF-H800 earbuds are scheduled to ship in January for $349.95.
