The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has spread all over the world. People in almost all countries on the planet have been advised to stay at home and practice social distancing. As the number of infected individuals keeps rising, so does the death toll. As of now, the virus has infected 1.9 million people and claimed 118,000 lives.
The deadly virus does not differentiate on the basis of race, religion, on nationality.
And it does not differentiate on the basis of political status either. World leaders and/or their family members have tested positive for the virus all over the world.

WHO ARE THE POLITICAL LEADERS THAT HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS?
Begona Gomez
Gomez is married to Pedro Sanchez, the Prime Minister of Spain. Begone tested positive for the virus on March 15th. According to the Associated Press, the Spanish government reported Gomez and Sanchez in good health at their home in Madrid.
Boris Johnson
The British Prime Minister tested positive for the virus on 27th March and was admitted to the ICU on 6th April. He has since been discharged from the hospital. However, he has said that he won’t be returning to work right away.
Franck Riester
The French Minister of Culture was reported to be infected by the deadly virus in the 2nd week of March.
Iraj Harirchi
Harirchu is Iran’s Deputy Health Minister. He was diagnosed with the virus towards the end of February after he was visibly sick while speaking to reporters.
Masoumeh Ebtekar
Iranian Vice President of Iran for Women and Family Affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar, tested positive for the virus on 27th February. She is currently the highest-ranking woman in Iran’s government.
Matthew Hancock
The British Health Secretary announced on Twitter on 27th March that he had tested positive for the virus. He added that his symptoms were mild and that he was working from home while self-isolating.
Michel Barnier
Barnier is the EU’s chief negotiator for Brexit. He tested positive for the virus on 19th March and announced it via a tweet.
Nadine Dorris
Dorries is Britain’s junior health minister. She was confirmed to have the virus and put under self-isolation on 10th March.
Peter Dutton
Peter Dutton, Australia’s home affairs minister, was hospitalized in Queensland after testing positive for the virus on 13th March.
Prince Charles
The Duke of Cornwall tested positive for the virus on 25th March. He spent 5 days in self-isolation and recovered from the virus on 30th March.
Sophie Trudeau
The wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sophie tested positive for the virus on 12th March following a trip to London. She recovered from the virus on 29th March. However, Justin Trudeau announced that he would continue to self-isolate for 14 days.
Yaakov Litzman
Litzman is the health minister for Israel. He tested positive for the virus along with his wife, in April.
