Disneyland To Reopen With Safety Protocols In Place

The coronavirus pandemic forced all forms of public entertainment to be shut down. Theatres, cinema halls, restaurants, etc. Amusement parks and theme parks were no exception. However, these forms of public entertainment are opening back up, even though the spread of the virus is worsening in many parts of the world. Disneyland has become one of the first parks to reopen amidst the pandemic.

Let’s find out more about Disneyland’s reopening.

Disneyland Resort has planned out a phase by phase reopening of its parks. Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme park are set to reopen on July 17. They will reopen the Walt Disney World in Florida one week prior. Subject to state and local government approval, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will open July 23.

However, a trip to Disneyland now and in the near future will not resemble the typical experiences associated with it. To prevent the spread of the virus as much as possible, the Resort has put certain provisions in place.

Firstly, the entry system has been changed.

“Upon reopening, certain theme parks, hotels, restaurants and other locations may be limited in capacity and subject to restricted availability”

Thus, all guests would now be required to make a reservation for their trip to the park. The park’s Annual Passholders would also have to comply with the reservation system.

Even inside the park, all guests and staff would have to comply with safety protocols.
