Fall Looks for the PS4 DualShock 4 Controller!

On the 15th of August, 2019, Sony had announced about their release of four new fall colors for the DualShock 4 controller from PS4.

Also the controller can be paired with a matching rose gold-hued Gold Wireless Headset, which is coming this November.

The announcement –

“The DualShock 4 Wireless Controller family has grown so much since its launch almost six years ago, as we’ve introduced more than 25 colors, ranging from classic Jet Black and Wave Blue to the eclectic Sunset Orange and Red Crystal.

Today, we’re excited to reveal four new stylish colors being added to our growing lineup to help you play in style starting this Fall.”

Basically, the other DualShock 4 colors include new Titanium Blue, Electric Purple, and Red Camouflage paint schemes.

“… And if you like the look of the Rose Gold controller, then get ready, because we’re also revealing a Rose Gold Edition headset, coming later in November. This headset offers the same Gold Wireless Headset audio features players have come to love, but boasts a Rose Gold metallic finish on the headband, with embossed PS Shapes on the inside. Check out the Rose Gold collection below in our new video.”

Fall Looks for the PS4 DualShock 4 Controller!

PlayStation 4 owners will have some lovely new DualShock 4 color options to choose from later this year, thanks to four additions to the PS4 controller’s lineup. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a quartet of new colors on Thursday, but the standout is the Rose Gold DualShock 4.

All four controllers feature a subtle (or, in the case of the red camouflage, not-so-subtle) two-tone color scheme. The electric purple model, in particular, is getting some extra flair in the form of all-white icons for the face buttons in place of Sony’s iconic red / green / pink / blue colors.

Price and Availability –

As is typical for non-black DualShock 4 controllers, the new colorways will be available for $64.99 in September. That’s $5 more than the standard (boring) version, which starts at $59.99 before the frequent discounts it tends to get.

If you’re a fan of the rose gold color, there’s more good news: Sony will be releasing a matching version of its gold Wireless Headset for the PS4, cleverly called the “rose gold Wireless Headset,” for $99.99 in November.
