G7 Line from Motorola to be Launched this Spring

After quite a few leaks in the past few weeks, the new Motorola’s G7 line seems to be available for $199. The launch would be somewhere in the spring of this year.

Although there has been quite a few speculations with respect to the features, due to the leaks. Yet if you are one of the people who would like to wait for the real deal. Well, then just continue reading further for more updates.

Motorola G7 Line –

This latest line of Motorola devices are said to be under the budget, i.e. the G7 line is considered as the Budget G Line. The announcement was made officially on the 7th of February, 2019. Clearly the company is looking forward for the Mobile World Congress which is in just a matter of few weeks.

But it is also wise to consider that the Moto G7 isn’t really aiming for the MWC crowd as of such. This is said because of the fact that the show tends to be far more focused on premium flagships. Whereas Motorola puts itself for “people who say, ‘I don’t need all this phone.’” In other words, people who don’t want to spend $1,000+ for a flagship. As such, the line starts at $199, putting it in line with earlier models.

As for the base level G7, it sports a 6.2-inch display, 12-megapixel dual cameras and a 3,000 mAh battery. It is also coupled with a middling Snapdragon 632.
This device is already available in Brazil and Mexico. The price of the G7 is $299.

The G7 Play is the cheapest out of the lot. It costs about $199. It has a smaller screen of 5.7 inches and holds a single 13 megapixel rear camera.

The G7 Power is priced in between of the above two variants, i.e. it costs about $249. This has the same screen size as the base level G7. It also has similar battery but it doesn’t support the dual cameras.

Lastly, the G7 Plus brings a number of camera effects, much like the Moto Z line. It holds a 16 megapixel dual camera, OIS and “auto-smile” image capture. Unfortunately this too has been available in Brazil and Mexico but not yet in the Unites States.

Availability –

Other than Brazil and Mexico, the G7 Plus will be rolling out in Europe, Australia and other parts of Latin American.

Whereas the G7, G7 Play and G7 Power will be available in the Unites States and possibly other places by this spring.
