On 27th of December, 2018, Android Police has announced on their blog about the possibility of the launch of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Lite by this spring through Verizon.
Now, a video review of a pre-production version of the Pixel 3 Lite has surfaced. This video basically provides or rather reveals few detailed features; one being the inclusion of the headphone jack. Read further to get more insight over this news.
What was the video and the information on headphone jack?
The video was uploaded on YouTube by an Ukrainian tech blog Andro News. This appears to be its first video, uploaded a mere six days ago.
Nevertheless the video has good quality footage of what is undoubtedly the Pixel 3 Lite leak.
Perhaps the most exciting detail shown in this video is the inclusion of a headphone jack on the device; this, while expected, will no doubt bring joy to the great many who bemoaned the loss of the 3.5 mm port with the Pixel 2.
The handset’s back is plastic, making it more durable than the metal and glass Pixel 3. According to the leaker’s specs, it has a 5.56-inch 1080 x 2160 display with an 18:9 ratio, a Snapdragon 670 chipset with Adreno 615 GPU, 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM.
The reviewer stated that the smartphone takes high-quality shots with its 12.2-megapixel f/1.8 rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie camera, going so far as to call it directly comparable to its higher-end siblings. He also indicated the 2,915mAh provided impressive battery life.
Note:- The handset, of course, runs Android 9 Pie.
Rumours of the previous leaks of the Google Pixel 3 XL Lite –
Previous leaks have suggested there will be a larger Pixel 3 XL Lite that has a 6-inch screen, as well, but that was not brought up in the leaker’s video.
Also not mentioned was any indication of price, which is a key consideration when it comes to any mid-range device. Unfortunately, we may have to wait for that information. As the video tipster believes the Pixel 3 Lite reveal will occur after Google I/O 2019.
Given the pace of the leaks we’ve seen so far, though, there’s little doubt more information will emerge in the intervening months.

Additional rumours on the ‘pre-production sample’-
As mentioned earlier, it features a plastic body instead of a metal frame and etched glass. Although you can still see a faint distinction for the upper glass shade. The same dull white color with bright yellow power button is again on display.
As a “pre-production sample,” it features a generic logo in place of the Google ‘G’ on the rear side. Given the early stage of the device shown below, it’s unlikely that the box shown on YouTube thumbnail is real; and more likely a mock up.
The bottom edge features two speaker grills flanking the USB-C port, with the SIM card slot moved to the left-hand side. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is on the top edge, marking a welcome return of an audio port to the Pixel lineup.
Notably, Pixel devices are generally already lower cost than flagships from Apple and Samsung. But a new addition could be a nice opportunity for Google to show how Android can shine on lower cost devices.
