How to crack a job interview?

Getting selected in a job interview isn’t really difficult. You can easily crack it by following certain tips and tricks:

Know the company

So, you have got a call for interview from the company. But do you even know the aim of company? Many people do this blunder. They go for the interview without even knowing about the company. One of the most common questions is what do you know about us? Or what do you expect from us? To answer these, you must research about the objectives of company as well as the CEO and other CXOs of it. It will definitely help you answer ques confidently and understand the company better.

Prepare your documents

Ensure that you have atleast two copies of your updates resume and your id card. These are essential things you must carry. Apart from that, the company might expect you to carry your graduation or high school marksheet. Go through the instructions or ask them in advance. Keep them ready and take along when you go for the interview.

Be confident

Confidence can make or break you. It’s about how you express your knowledge. If you aren’t good at english and the interview will be taken in english, don’t hesitate. You can not learn any language in such a short period of time. All you can do is to speak with confidence even if you are scared. Don’t let your fear be visible on your face. If you are well versed with the position and knowledge of the field which you are going for, you can ask them if they could allow you to speak in any other language which all of you are familiar with. What really matters is your ability to express your knowledge.

Dress properly

Your dress-up reflects your personality. When someone doesn’t know you already, he or she will anyway judge you with your appearance. Doesn’t mean you need to go to parlour or spa. You simply need to ensure that your dressing sense is appreciable. You must not forget to iron your formals. A white shirt with black trouser and blazer is ideal for an interview.

Leave timely

Check out the time and venue of interview and leave your home with atleast a margin of one hour. You never know when it might take you a little long during travel. Also, when you reach late for an interview, it gives a negative impression to the interviewer. So, always leave timely.
