HOW TO RETURN TO GYM SAFELY DURING COVID-19

Gyms have remained closed in the subsequent lockdowns due to covid-19. Now that it has all opened up, so are gyms. The gym-a-holics have been awaiting for this day since months and finally their wait is over.

While it may be excited to return to gym after so long, it may be equally risk and distressful as the pandemic isn’t over yet. In fact, the fatalities have gone up drastically. If you are also looking to get back to your gym routine, you must not miss these safety measures:

1. Maintain distancing
The normal safety protocols apply here as well. You need to maintain distancing even when you are working out. Try and join gym which has more space or time slot and less people.

2. Carry your own stuff
No matter if it was your best friend or cousin, whom to shared your towel with, you should discontinue sharing. It is important to understand that sharing during these times keeps you at a direct risk of catching the virus. So, carry your own towel, water bottle and everything you need in gym.

3. Wipe out equipments
Cleaning all the equipments before keeping your hands on it can prove to be a great preventive measure. Do not ignore this step as you never know who’s infected with Covid and you may be the next is you do not follow these measures.
