As the name suggests, the International day of happiness is celebrated to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people across the world irrespective of their age, class, background, occupation or any other division. The day is celebrated on 20th March every since since 2013 when the United Nations announced this day.
On this international day of happiness, let us share some ways to be happy and spread happiness.
1. Do what you love and love what you do
Love and happiness go hand in hand. If you do what you love, you turn happy and if you are happy, you love it! Isn’t it? Similarly, doing what you love or loving what you do gives you joy and that’s what we are missing in life now. Instead of doing something without interest, do what gives you pleasure.

2. Extend a helping hand
You might not know who may be in a need of your help. It can be somebody struggling to eat twice everyday. It can be any of your friends going through a trauma or even your parents undergoing some pain. So, look out for those who might need you and extend a helping hand.
3. Think before you speak
Many a times we say out things that we regret later. In fact, the person on whom it is intended may not be able to cope up with your words. Intentionally or unintentionally, it can be fatal to somebody. So, always think twice before you speak.
