The new modification to the Apple Card seems really fascinating. Not only are their titanium build and all-white finish; but it’s becoming a craze among many but it can now actually turn into a knife!
The Apple Card Is Now A Knife!
Apple claims its credit card, one of the heaviest cards on the market; along with it’s “laser-etched with the card holder’s name and the Apple logo”; and contains a bright white finish “achieved through a multi-layer coating process that’s added to the titanium base material.”
In other words, if any kind of metal comes into contact with it, including the edges of another credit card, it could suffer some serious scratches or other damage to the finish. And hence, making these cards so sharp like an actual knife. There is also a video wherein the card is clearly shown cutting through many surfaces including vegetables!

As for how to safely store the card, Apple is advising customers store it in some container made of soft material; but not leather. And to make sure it doesn’t come into contact with any loose metal objects; and of course magnets, as that could demagnetize the strip.
The company also advises cleaning the card with only a slightly damp microfiber cloth dipped in water or isopropyl alcohol. “Don’t use window or household cleaners, compressed air, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, or abrasives to clean your titanium Apple Card,” warns the support page.
Note: If you really want to make a knife out of an actual credit card, you don’t have to use Apple Cards; it seems like many credit cards made of metal can be sharpened, too
That said, we don’t recommend sharpening any credit cards. They are potentially dangerous and aren’t something you should be handing over to cashiers. And, TSA prohibits and is actively looking out for credit card-sized knives at airports, so you might get caught if you try to board an airplane with one.
