Dr dre is the highest paid music artist of the decade according to Forbes magazine. He has made it to the number one position even when he hasn’t released any album since his 2015 Compto. Thanks to his 20 per cent stake in Beats in May 2014.
2️⃣ Taylor Swift — $825M
Swift achieved the second position in the list, her 2014 album, “1989” sold over 3.7 million units, making it the best-selling album of the year. Swift’s tours bring in the bulk of her income.
3️⃣ Beyoncé — $685M
Beyoncé who’s typically in her 30s has recorded some really hit songs including formation, party, partition and many more.
4️⃣ U2 — $675M
At #4 is U2, with $675 million earned during the 2010s. The irish rock band’s vocals are largely themed personal and socio-political.
The group consists of Bono (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), the Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion).

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson or Katy, who used to sing in church in her childhood rose to fame in 2008 with her second album, One of the Boys, a pop rock record containing the singles “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot n Cold.
