US President Donald Trump, along with his cavalcade, landed in Ahmedabad on Monday.
He landed India along with his wife and first lady of US Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner and top brass of the US administration.
But among these, Ivanka was the one who caught the highest attention on her second visit.
She was seen wearing a floral dress as she landed in Ahmedabad, which she even wore before.
The 38-year-old businesswoman and author has worn the same Proenza Schouler dress on her 2019 Argentina trip.
The midi dress with a V-neck tie hanging detail reportedly costs Rs 1.7 lakh.
However, this time, she paired the dress with red pumps and statement earrings. In Argentina, along with the dress, Ivanka had worn a pair of baby blue suede pumps.
Since most public figures or personalities tend to not repeat the clothes in public, and come up with showing something new everytime, the decision of Ivanka to recycle the dress and wear it again, is praised by almost all.
Apart from Ivanka Trump, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton are two of the few fashion conscious celebrities who chose to repeat their outfits.
Joaquin Phoenix too, repeated clothes on every red carpet, However, he was criticised. But now, it’s time to re-think what should be criticized, repeating clothes in public or fast fashion?
