Vine Successor Byte Inaugurating in 2019

Great news for the Vine app users. After waiting for so many months finally the wait is over now. As Vine is going to launch its app called Byte. The app is coming in the year 2019. However, Co-creator of Vine app Dom Hofmann announced a successor on Twitter about the release of Byte.


About Byte app:

  • App is available for IPhone users as a beta starting from today. And the same will be available for the android users soon.
  • However, users will find this very interesting once they will start using it.
  • Dom Hofmann also said that this app also has Video-looping feature.
  • He even said that we can also call it as version 2 of Vine.
  • We can also visit to Byte’s Website and log in for all the updates of the app.

 The Vine app was created by Dom Hofmann in the year 2012 and same was acquired by Twitter in the same year. By 2015 it had almost 200 millions of users. Likewise, Twitter said that they are going to take off Vine.

What is Byte app:

  • Byte has activity feed in it.
  • Byte also has an option to edit our profile.
  • App seems to be interesting if we explore it more.
  • Creation tool option also available in app which is available at the center of the bottom row of the icons available in the app.
  • We just have to tap it once and we will notice there are random colors shows up.
  • If we tap on Canvas you will get several buttons.
  • Users can take the photos from phone and add them in their creation.
  • However, there is also an option to add text into it.
  • Likewise, creation can be drawn with the help of our fingers as well.
  • Similarly, how we add photos to Instagram likewise, we can share our creation on Instagram as well.

There are so many features added in one single app called “Byte”. “Soundtrack” button also added which is inspired by Mario Paint’s composer. This will help for the creations that we can do by our own.

Interesting part is the computer that is an app launcher in the same app. It allows user to create text, pictures and memes into your Byte account. Dom Hofmann also added that “Features are in the works, such as “Blocks” that gets in programming capabilities and features a grid-based interface”.

However, Byte will open up to everyone in the year July 2019. So, we still have to wait for few more months to enjoy the brand new app with the brand new features.
