WHAT IS PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME AND IS IT NORMAL?

Premenstrual syndrome or PMS refers to a variety of changes or symptoms that appear in women prior to their monthly cycle or periods, and these generally disappear within 4 days of starting of menstrual cycle. So what are these symptoms and are these normal? Let us find out in this article.

1. Mood swings
Mood swings is the most common symptom a women gets before and during her periods. From feeling like the most happiest person on earth, to depression, 3 of 4 women get severe mood swings. These cause issues within their relationships.

2. Physical pain

The shape or size of breasts may change in most women before their periods. Breasts may appear to be swollen , but generally without any pain or discomfort.
