WhatsApp to take over all messenger apps

On May 1, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at its F8 developer conference in San Jose, California made an important announcement about the new feature of WhatsApp i.e, group video chat. Earlier, this feature was only available for 2 people only but now we will be able to do group video chat.

WhatsApp which was acquired by Facebook in February 2014, is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. Since then we had seen lots of new features in this messaging app. WhatsApp has over 1.5 billion monthly users across the World.

In the F8 developer conference during his keynote address, Zuckerberg said that video calling is already one of the most popular feature on whatsApp. It is also said that people have already used about 2 billion minutes of video calling on whatsApp alone.

Company also revealed that whatsApp status feature is being used by over 450 million people worldwide.

With this new feature whatsApp will diminish the gap between friends, relatives and businesses. In future we are expecting to see new and more amazing features in whatsApp.
