World War 2 was one of the most devastating periods in world history. With millions dead and injured, it led to widespread bloodshed around the world.
It’s unbelievable that an event that occurred more than 60 years back is still having consequences for the modern world. Especially Germany, which was in destruction mode after the WW2 is still writhing with its effects. The country still finds bombs from the World War era being found which can cause damage.
Another example of the same has been found in the country. A bomb from that time period was recently found in the Frankfurt area of Germany. It was discovered during construction work being done in the area.

HOW WAS THE BOMB FROM WORLD WAR 2 FOUND?
It was found around the convention center as construction work was being carried out. German police and firefighters cleared a section of the area in order to diffuse the bomb that could still have been dangerous.
Authorities say some 2,700 people are being asked to leave their homes as they cordon off the area as a precaution to defuse the 500-kilogram (1,100-pound) bomb. Buses and trains through the area were also shut down and bomb experts were expected to get to work on the bomb about noon Friday.
The work was supposed to be done by dinner time as the authorities look to maintain the safety standards in the territory. Such incidents are just a shocking reminder of the brutality of wars. They can actually devastate an area for centuries to come. That’s when we are not talking about the mental scars being left by the war.
